<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">In the report, the bank&#8217;s strategists wrote: &#8220;In the US, the technology sector is likely to remain the long-term winner.\nIn Europe, it is more likely to be a combination of structurally strong and\/or stable sectors: Healthcare, Consumer Staples and Technology.\nWe have named the largest stocks in these sectors the &#8220;GRANOLAS&#8221;: GlaxoSmithKline, Roche, ASML, Nestl\u00e9, Novartis, Novo Nordisk, L&#8217;Or\u00e9al, LVMH, AstraZeneca, SAP, Sanofi.\nThey may not ALL do well, but they generally have some growth and\/or stability in earnings and an annual return in the 2 &#8211; 2.5% range&#8221;.   <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-33f937a\" id=\"was-sind-die-magnificent-seven\" data-block-id=\"33f937a\"><h2 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">What are the Magnificent Seven?<\/h2><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-57306f3\" data-block-id=\"57306f3\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">The term &#8220;Magnificent Seven&#8221; refers to a group of seven technology companies from the USA: Apple, Amazon, Google (Alphabet), Microsoft, Facebook (Meta), Tesla and Nvidia.\nThe term &#8220;Magnificent Seven&#8221; alludes to the famous western &#8220;The Magnificent Seven&#8221; from 1960.\nThe movie is about a group of seven heroic gunslingers who defend a Mexican village community against bandits.\nLike the characters in the film, who stand for justice and protection, these companies symbolize technological progress and economic power in the business world.   <\/p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-d2b454a\" id=\"welche-unternehmen-gehoren-zu-den-granolas\" data-block-id=\"d2b454a\"><h2 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">Which companies belong to the Granolas?<\/h2><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">As previously mentioned, the Granolas include eleven companies: GSK (GlaxoSmithKline), Roche, ASML, Nestl\u00e9, Novartis, Novo Nordisk, L&#8217;Or\u00e9al, LVMH, AstraZeneca, SAP and Sanofi.\nThey come from various sectors such as healthcare, consumer goods, technology and luxury goods. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">An investment in a basket of these eleven shares at the beginning of 2021 has brought you a gain of 65.7% three years later.\nIn a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsam.com\/content\/dam\/gsam\/pdfs\/common\/en\/public\/articles\/market-pulse\/emea\/2024\/march-international-market-pulse.pdf?sa=n&amp;rd=n\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">report<\/a> from March 2024, Goldman Sachs therefore states: &#8220;Since 2021, the eleven stocks have also achieved the same performance as the highly praised Magnificent Seven from the USA.\nAt the same time, their prices have fluctuated only half as much.\nIn Goldman&#8217;s view, the Granolas also have good prospects for the future.\nThis is because they invest three times href=\"https:\/\/de.investing.com\/news\/stock-market-news\/granolas-vs-magnificent-7-europas-unterschatzte-champions-2550823\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">expect<\/a> a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7% until 2025.\nIn comparison, they expect the rest of the market (STOXX 600) to grow at less than 2%.  <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-22df690\" id=\"hohe-und-stabile-margen\" data-block-id=\"22df690\"><h3 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">High and stable margins<\/h3><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">The Granolas have high profit margins and robust balance sheets, which underlines their profitability and financial strength.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-ae933a5\" id=\"granolas-mit-nur-halb-so-hoher-volatilitat-wie-die-m-7\" data-block-id=\"ae933a5\"><h3 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">Granolas with only half the volatility of the M7<\/h3><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">Compared to the US technology shares (&#8220;Magnificent Seven&#8221;), Granolas shares have a significantly <a technology sector, the Granolas cover various sectors.\nThe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.morningstar.de\/de\/news\/246757\/wie-man-mit-etfs-ein-granolas-exposure-erh%C3%A4lt.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sector diversity<\/a> is high: the list mainly contains companies from the healthcare (32%), defensive consumer (26%), cyclical consumer (29%) and technology (14%) sectors.\nThis brings good diversification to the portfolio.\nThe granolas include global market leaders in their respective sectors, such as Nestl\u00e9 for food, LVMH for luxury goods, L&#8217;Or\u00e9al for cosmetics and Novo Nordisk for diabetes.\nThey also include some of the world&#8217;s largest pharmaceutical companies, primarily Roche.    <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-a5761f2\" id=\"hohe-marktrelevanz-in-indizes\" data-block-id=\"a5761f2\"><h3 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">High market relevance in indices<\/h3><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">Granolas account for around <a href=\"https:\/\/de.investing.com\/news\/stock-market-news\/granolas-vs-magnificent-7-europas-unterschatzte-champions-2550823\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a quarter<\/a> of the market capitalization of the STOXX 600.\nThey contribute around 60% to its price gains in 2023, which underlines their importance for the European equity market. <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-3fcc8b9\" id=\"wie-kann-ich-in-die-granolas-investieren\" data-block-id=\"3fcc8b9\"><h2 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">How can I invest in the granolas?<\/h2><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">So far, there are no ETFs that focus on granolas.\nSo you have no choice but to put together your own granola portfolio from individual stocks with the same weighting.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">Alternatively, you could buy a sector ETF on the pharmaceutical industry and hold the other Granolas as individual stocks.\nThis is because six of the eleven Granolas belong to the pharmaceutical industry: Novo Nordisk, Novartis, AstraZeneca, Roche, Sanofi and GSK.\nThese are also the six largest positions in funds such as the SPDR MSCI Europe Health Care UCITS ETF (EUR) or the iShares S&amp;P 500 Health Care Sector identified<strong>&#8220;Europe&#8217;s Magnificent Seven&#8221;<\/strong>.\nThese stocks are a different selection to the Granolas.\nFrom UBS&#8217;s perspective, <strong>ASML, Ferrari, Herm\u00e8s, L&#8217;Or\u00e9al, LVMH, Novo Nordisk and Siemens<\/strong> make up the &#8220;European Magnificent Seven&#8221;.\nWe are already familiar with some of these companies from Goldman Sachs&#8217; Granola selection.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">UBS believes that all seven companies offer unique business models and market positions that should enable them to deliver superior long-term revenue and earnings growth compared to the broader European market.\nIt sees these stocks as high-quality growth stocks that can help investors diversify their portfolios beyond the technology sector.\nThe companies are typically leaders in their global market segments and offer strong business models and excellent innovation.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">According to UBS, these companies not only have strong brands and pricing power, but are also likely to achieve stable profit growth and sustainable free cash flow in the long term.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-216de0b\" this stock selection, you can invest in high-quality, high-growth companies with relatively low valuations.\nIn the past, their share prices have also fluctuated less than those of US technology stocks.\nYou are thus making a conscious stock selection that can &#8211; but does not have to &#8211; succeed.\nThis selection contradicts one of our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smolio.ch\/wissen\/anlegen-fuer-anfaenger-mit-diesen-8-tipps-liegst-du-goldrichtig\/\">investment principles<\/a>, namely buying markets rather than individual
